Synopsis

The book “Reflections on Societal Challenges” is a selective collection of my articles published in Reflections, Live Websites, commentaries and other platforms. The key focus is on modern-day socio-cultural and political concerns which, if addressed wisely with prudent awareness, can be harnessed and vanquished towards building a better and harmonious society. I hope that my views and critical narrative will enlighten at least a few aspiring young and noble minds, who intend to bestow on us “GOOD GOVERNANCE” in their future endeavors.

As an educationist and a free thinker, I do witness drastic changes in our social and political systems, which have stirred a deep sense of resentment within me and the likeminded folk alike. I have tried to portray a sincere reflection of our existing system based on facts, analysis, and suggestive possible reforms, if executed wisely, can help us create a harmonious tomorrow.

The foreword was penned by Late Mr. Sarwat Hussain, my former ICRISAT colleague to whom I wish to dedicate this book. He is a perfect example of persistent focus and devotion towards the cause, became successful in his endeavors. He began his career as a secretary with ICRISAT in Resource management Programme, and was elevated as Consultant with The World Bank, International Development and Strategic Communications, Washington, DC.
